Set mostly in 1940s Germany, this show explored how normal citizens of Germany reacted to the rise of the Nazis through friendship, gay rights, and immigration. This show was live-streamed from the Norton-Clapp Theatre, and included pre-recorded videos and slides in between live scenes.
Live Streaming Elements
We took advantage of the live-stream by playing a shaky vintage style video introducing the show and our cast. As the script called for projections of different time markers, we also had slides with that text instead of projections between scenes.
The Living Room
Our show took place in Agnes' living room in Berlin. This was the first scene in the show, and it was a cheerful party scene which contrasted later when the terror of 1940s Germany set in, and characters turned on each other.

Projections
The set utilized a projector to show various images and videos. In this one where Baz describes his concerns about his country to Agnes, a video of snow was playing in the background.

Generations
In the last scene, the three generations of women from different times come together to warn against apathy and inaction. This prerecorded scene utilized the set but stripped it of all furniture and placed it in unrealistic lighting.
